OVERVIEW

Northeast Baptist School (also referred to as NBS) was founded in 1994 as a ministry of participating Southern Baptist Churches in the Northeast Louisiana Baptist Association.  Since the school’s first 30 students, NBS has grown to over 200 students, with 37 full and part-time faculty and staff.

NBS purchased our new campus in December of 2006.  The new campus features administrative offices, a 400 plus seat auditorium with stage and sound system, commercial kitchen, library, classroom facilities for over 400 students, and a gymnasium which seats 300.  Future expansion plans include an class room building and a sports field.

Classes are offered for pre-school through twelfth grade in a traditional classroom setting.  Our achievements test scores rank our students at an average of two grade levels above their current grade.

ACCREDITATION

Northeast Baptist School is a LA approved school. Our graduates are TOPS qualified in accordance with the guidelines set by the Louisiana Department of Education.
